Workshop on national standards for institutional accreditation

Under the patronage and attendance of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Imad Hussein Marzah, the esteemed and Mr. Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdel Hassan Attia, the esteemed, the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at our university held a workshop tagged (National Standards for Institutional Accreditation) on Thursday morning, 5/9/2019 in the Department Control and Systems Engineering, the workshop was attended by Mr. Head of the Engineering Production and metallurgy department Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abbar Khleif the esteemed and a number of respected heads of scientific departments and quality assurance people directors and a large number of attendees from the scientific departments at the university participated our department in the presence of an active P In the activities of this important workshop by all members of the committee formed for this purpose. The Director of the Quality Assurance Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Maha Abdul Karim Al-Rawi, the faculty member in our department, explained the national standards and the general framework for writing the report and the mechanism for preparing the improvement plan. It should be noted that these standards were formulated by a ministerial committee in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency and launched last year at a national conference held at the University of Al-Nahrain, and it includes eight criteria that represent the axes and joints of institutional performance and education outcomes in Iraqi higher education institutions that vary between the standard of the educational institution strategy Governance, administration, financial, material and teaching resources, students, curricula, scientific research and community service.
